Sizing a bet against the bankroll you actually brought

Start with what a plan can and cannot do. A staking pattern does not change what the game returns: Tower Rush pays back 96.12% to 97.00% of everything staked whatever size the bets are, and the operator keeps the rest. What a plan does control is risk and pace — how long the bankroll lasts, how large the swings feel while it lasts, how much of a good run you actually keep, and whether a session ends on a decision instead of on an empty balance. Those are real levers, and the rest of this page is how to use them.

The working rule is to keep each round at 1% to 2% of the money set aside for the session. Against a $200 session bankroll that works out at $2 to $4 per round, and the game's $0.10 floor means even a $20 bankroll can be sized sensibly at $0.20. The difference this makes is blunt: at $2 a round, a $200 bankroll absorbs a hundred consecutive losing rounds; at $20 a round it absorbs ten. Ten bad rounds in a row is an ordinary evening, which is why the second version ends so quickly.

A session plan is a short list of decisions, all of them taken before the first round rather than during it:

  1. Fix the session bankroll as money already set aside for entertainment, separate from anything with a job to do elsewhere.
  2. Set the stake at 1% to 2% of that bankroll, keep it flat for the whole session, and decide the cash-out multiplier you are aiming for before the first round, so the manual cash-out becomes a rule rather than a test of nerve.
  3. Write down a stop-loss in dollars, for example 30% of the bankroll, which is $60 on $200.
  4. Write down a stop-win in dollars, for example 50% above the starting balance, which is $100 on $200.
  5. Fix the session's length as a round count rather than a duration, for instance 100 rounds, and let that count end it.

That plan has a shape you can see in advance. A hundred rounds at $2 puts $200 through the game, and at a 96.12% to 97.00% return an average of $192.24 to $194.00 of it comes back. Knowing the scale before you start is the point: it gives the session a size and a finish line, and it makes the swing around that average, which will be very much larger in both directions, easier to recognise for what it is.

Why a doubling chain stops at the $100 table cap

Doubling after a loss is the first idea most players reach for, so it deserves a proper accounting rather than a warning. The plan is to double the stake after each losing round and cash out at 2x, so that one win recovers everything lost in the chain plus the original unit. It runs into two walls in Tower Rush: the $100 maximum bet, and the size of the bank required to reach it.

Starting from $1 and cashing out at exactly 2x, the chain develops as shown below. Each of those recovery rounds also has to be cashed out by hand, because Tower Rush has no auto cash-out, which means the plan depends on perfect timing at exactly the moment the stake is largest and the pressure highest.

So seven losses in a row cost $127 and leave the chain stranded, because the stake that would recover it is above the table maximum. How often does that happen? If the casino runs 96.5% and you cash out at exactly 2x, a winning round has a probability of 0.965 divided by 2, which is 48.25%. Seven losses in a row therefore land just under 1% of the time, roughly one chain in a hundred. Each completed chain gains $1, so a hundred of them gain $100 while the one that fails costs $127: a net loss of about $27 across roughly $785 of turnover, which is the 3.5% edge doing precisely what it always does. Cash out lower and the walls arrive sooner, because recovering a loss at 1.5x needs twice the loss as a stake: $1, $2, $6, $18, $54, and the sixth step would need $162.

Why do I need a stop-win if I am ahead?

Because every extra round gives back another 3.00% to 3.88% of its stake to the edge. Continuing for 200 more rounds at $2 adds $400 of turnover, which on average returns $384.48 to $388.00 and quietly works against the balance you were happy with.

How long should a session last?

Set it as a round count, not a duration: 100 rounds at $2 is $200 of turnover, returning $192.24 to $194.00 on average. Rounds are countable and minutes are negotiable, and every round needs your attention because there is no auto cash-out to place the exit for you.

Does the Frozen Floor protect my stake?

It protects progress, not money. Once placed, the tower cannot collapse below that level, but the round still pays nothing until you cash out manually. Treat it as a checkpoint that makes an early exit cheap rather than as cover for pushing toward 100x.

Should I raise my stake after a win?

Stake creep is one of the quietest ways to shorten a session. If the bet triples after two good rounds, the cushion that was meant to absorb a hundred bad rounds now absorbs thirty. Recalculate the percentage between sessions instead, when the bankroll figure has actually changed.

Is there any way to predict a collapse?

No. The provably fair seeds behind a round are produced without any reference to what happened before it, and the round hash can be checked afterwards. Whatever shape the history panel appears to show, it describes finished rounds only and carries no information about the one you are about to start.

Is practising in the demo useful?

Yes, for rehearsing a plan. Virtual credits carry the identical mathematics, so stake sizing, both stop levels and cash-out timing can be drilled at no cost until the sequence is automatic. The one thing free play cannot reproduce is how differently those same decisions feel once the balance is real.
